Born in Michigan, Dr. Matthew Powellson grew up in northern Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelors in Psychology. At Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, he completed medical school and residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

Dr. Powellson is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Guided by his faith in Christ, he enjoys seeing children and adults of all ages.

After practicing in Georgia for 3 years, Dr. Powellson and his family moved to Texas to join Woodlands Family Practice in 2014. In his free time, Dr. Powellson enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with his wife Tina, a native Texan, his two children, Macy and Jack, and two dogs, Luca and Izzy.
